This Privacy Policy describes how we collect and use User information. This Privacy Policy is published in accordance with the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the rules made thereunder, and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (“DPDP Act”). For the purposes of the DPDP Act, You are the “Data Principal” and SustVest is the “Data Fiduciary” in respect of Your personal data. By accessing or using the Website, You acknowledge that You have read, understood, and agree to be bound by this Privacy Policy. This Privacy Policy does not apply to information collected from residents of countries outside India.

Your continued use of the Website following any changes to this Privacy Policy signifies your agreement to follow and be bound by the updated or modified Privacy Policy. Personal Information

a) We collect personal information that can identify the User, including but not limited to name, gender, age, date of birth, mobile number, address, email address, identity proof number (such as PAN or Aadhaar, where applicable), bank account details, and investment-related information (“Personal Data” or “Personal Information”), as outlined in this Privacy Policy. Where We collect Aadhaar-related information, We do so only where permitted by law and in accordance with the Aadhaar (Targeted Delivery of Financial and Other Subsidies, Benefits and Services) Act, 2016 and applicable Reserve Bank of India (RBI) and regulatory guidelines, and We do not store or publicly display Your full Aadhaar number except as expressly permitted by law. It is clarified that:

  • (i) Some User information must be mandatorily provided, while other information is optional. Certain portions of the information will remain private, and some may be displayed to other Users; We will always inform the User which is which.
  • (ii) Additional information may be collected during subsequent use of the Website by the User whenever the User chooses to provide it.

How Does SustVest Collect Personal Information?

Data Retention

We retain Your personal data only for as long as is necessary to fulfil the purposes for which it was collected, to provide Our services, and to comply with applicable legal, regulatory, tax, accounting, and KYC/anti-money laundering retention requirements. Certain financial and KYC records may be required to be retained for a period of up to five (5) years (or longer, as prescribed by law) after the end of Our relationship with You. When Your personal data is no longer required and retention is not otherwise required or permitted by law, We will erase or anonymise it.

Minor Usage

The Website is intended for use by individuals who can enter legally binding contracts. If You are a minor, You may use the Website only with the involvement of a parent or guardian. For the purposes of the DPDP Act, a child is an individual below the age of eighteen (18) years. We do not knowingly process the personal data of a child, or of a person with a disability who has a lawful guardian, without first obtaining verifiable consent from the parent or lawful guardian. We do not undertake tracking or behavioural monitoring of children, or targeted advertising directed at children. If a parent becomes aware that their child has provided us with information, they should contact us to remove it.
